January Update: Flea Market Life, Midwest Miles, and Valentine’s-Day Laser Chaos

If you’re thinking, “Krystal… wasn’t the last Ducks on the Road post in November?” Yes. Yes it was. And if you’re also thinking, “Wow, time is fake,” welcome to the pond.

So here’s the January update you deserve (and the one my calendar has been side-eyeing me about since Thanksgiving).

Where we’ve landed: Fort Myers Flea Market (Green Aisle, Booth #74)

Laser Duck is currently posted up at Fleamasters Flea Market in Fort Myers, Florida — Green Aisle, Booth #74.

Translation: if you need us, we’re the ones surrounded by people selling everything from vintage treasures to “mystery items that definitely fell off a truck,” while we’re over here engraving names on things like responsible adults.

Come say hey, grab something personalized, and watch me pretend I’m not silently calculating how many tumblers I can finish before my next caffeine refill.

Christmas travel: Minnesota, because we like to suffer a little

We headed to Minnesota for Christmas, because apparently we missed the sensation of our faces hurting from the cold.

It was the good kind of chaos: family time, holiday mayhem, and the annual reminder that travel days do not care about your to-do list.

Navy kid visit: Great Lakes, IL

One of our Navy kids couldn’t make it home for the holidays, so we went to them and visited in Great Lakes, Illinois.

It wasn’t flashy or Pinterest-perfect. It was better: time together, real life, and the kind of moments that make you grateful you can pack up your whole life and go where you’re needed.

(Also: yes, I cried. No, you didn’t see it. Mind your business.)

Plot twist: Digital Gym Director went international

While Laser Duck is out here engraving our little hearts out, the other business—Digital Gym Director—decided it was time to get fancy.

We’re now working with gyms OVER SEAS!

So if you’re keeping score:

• One business is in a flea market booth in Florida

• The other is casually globe-trotting

And I’m over here trying to remember what day it is while my inbox multiplies like gremlins after midnight.

Back to lasering + gearing up for Valentine’s Day

After the holidays, we’re right back at it—still lasering, still customizing, still making sure your gifts don’t look like you panic-bought them at a gas station.

And now we’re gearing up for a big influx of jewelry orders for Valentine’s Day.

Because nothing says “I love you” like:

• something personalized

• something meaningful

• something that doesn’t scream “I forgot until yesterday”
